It’s official! The Camerawalls, in their first out of the country performance, will grace the Arena (outdoor theater) of Esplanade in Singapore for Baybeats 2010.
BAYBEATS is Singapore’s own local annual alternative music festival presented by Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay. Since 2002, it has sought to showcase good local, regional and international alternative bands, give them an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas; and bring to audiences a fun, 3-day celebration of great live alternative music in a variety of sounds such as post-rock, punk, emo, electro, indie-pop and hard rock.
Best thing about the festival? It’s FREE!
BAYBEATS is one of the most looked-forward-to music festivals in Singapore, hosting bands from countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Australia, USA, drawing large audiences to the Esplanade each year.

A Romantic Interlude To Club 8

Another first awaits The Camerawalls as they open for the charming Swedish pop duo Johan Angergard and Karolina Komstedt, popularly known in the indie pop community as CLUB 8, in their first major concert and visit on Philippine shores. The band whose line up has reduced and now consist of two original members – Clementine and Law Santiago, will feature a young rondalla ensemble Flumaviron and guest musicians to play along.

We are officially announcing that Ian Sarabia is no longer a member of The Camerawalls effective May 03, 2010. A formal meeting held between Lilystars Records Management and The Camerawalls’ members on the date mentioned was closed with the quorum’s acceptance of Ian’s resignation from the band. Due to personal reasons, preferences and his association with other bands also as a drummer, Ian unfortunately decided to leave The Camerawalls. Read more…
