Song Selections for a Night of Poker

Last week, a friend of mine from France came to the Philippines for an indefinite vacation. As soon as he arrived, he immediately contacted me via e-mail to schedule a meet-up in the café we used to hang out in during college. One of the conversations we had during our meeting was about his great love for poker. He told me that he has played at poker tables in the famous France-based Groupe Casino and other casinos near their area. He also told me stories regarding his frequent visits at online gaming websites like Party Poker. He then asked me if I wanted to have a poker night with him and the rest of the band in my place. Without any hesitation, I accepted his suggestion.

Seasick Yet Docked

The challege of scheduling an outdoor pictorial is the hope for a favorable weather. Unfortunately, during our sailboat shoot at the Manila Yacht Club, it rained almost non-stop the whole day.

We neither have the time nor the luxury to re-schedule so together with the photographers and the production team, we tried our luck. It was nearing dusk when the heavy rain tamed into a drizzle. We were able to get some fairly decent shots. You can check them out at the photo section of our site.

Ride & Rock Relief

Last Sunday, I had the pleasure of witnessing a very successful initial relief drive of DAKILA and Ride & Rock Relief for immediate support of families affected by the Habagat victims. They were able to send a total of 490 family packs of food and clothes and raised P45,000 in cash! The money will be spent on medicines and other necessities of affected families. The relief goods were delivered to the flood victims of the monsoon rains in Cainta, Angono and Marikina.
